If you have already filed an application for a student loan you can call this helpline to track its progress so that you are aware of which forms you have to fill out at the correct time. Once you have started university you should inform them immediately if your familial income changes drastically over the course of a term, for example if a parent loses their job, you should call this helpline as you may be eligible for a larger maintenance loan to help you pay for your student accommodation.
